Spring is in the Air
In spiritual traditions from around the world, Spring comes at the midpoint between the winter solstice and vernal equinox. On pacific time, that means Thursday 2/3 at 12:37 pm.
Now is when we begin to feel the pace pick up in our lives, and this is mirrored in the natural world around us - all we need to do is look in our gardens to see the plants growing in earnest toward the returning light.
Tune in and find the parts of you reaching toward the sun. Find your inner fuel and put on those walking shoes, gardening gloves, and grab your paint brush or journal. Sing, dance, and know that the season is supporting you in your creation and growth.
And if you want to dip your fingers into tradition, wash your face with the morning dew on Thursday and take a moment to celebrate the shift of season!
p.s. On a personal note, I was gifted an anemone flower when I moved into my new home last February. Look! It seeded itself! What a beautiful metaphor of the beauty waiting in the wings.
