July 28th - August 8, 2026
A 12-day, 11-night journey guided by an experienced shaman -- explore sacred sites, ancient traditions, and the wild beauty of Ireland.
Join Shaman Molly Maguire on an unforgettable adventure.
The majesty of the Emerald Isle can only be felt through living it, as the wonder and enchantment resides in the land, the people, and the spirits of the place.
This 12-day, 11-night tour will include a mix of sacred ceremony, history, arts, and tourism. We will start with a few days in Dublin, and then head to the counties of Kildare, Armagh, Louth, and Meath, along the eastern side of the country, staying in bed and breakfasts along the way. In addition to ceremony, we will connect with local Irish guides to learn about the land of our ancestors while visiting both well-known sites such as Newgrange and the Hill of Tara, as well as ones known to locals well off the beaten track. We will also do some deliciously touristy activities, such as attending a River Dance performance and a tour of the historic Guinness storeroom, with some free time to explore your own curiosities.
During our time together, we will connect with the unseen magic. We will visit holy waters, famous hills, ruins, and sacred sites, both public and private. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to be with ancestral lands while seeing the country of Ireland through the eyes of those who live there. It will be a profound experience, one filled with charm, joy, and stunning beauty.
If your heart is pulling you toward Ireland, you will not find a more complete & cost-effective trip. Take the leap!

“Ireland was so much more than I had expected and it was special to be there with Molly, who certainly has an affinity for the country. I appreciated her connections to locals and understanding of the culture, as well as her support of me on my journey. I felt so embraced by the local people we interacted with, and it was particularly meaningful to play music for others with Molly— outdoors and spontaneously in the local pub. New Grange was magical - I felt the presence of history, and I swear I heard the tinkling of bells from the fairy folk. The Hill of Slane carries special meaning as I visited the local distillery, then spent some time on the hill alone with my flute, exploring the ruins, and again feeling the presence of history - a connection to my mother’s people.” -Rhonda B, CA
A video for solo travelers ... FAQ's are below
F.A.Q.'s:
1. How much walking will we do each day? Will that be strenuous, or on uneven terrain?
We will walk between 1-3 miles per day. The walking in Dublin will be flat, with the exception of cobble stone streets in some of the more historic areas. For the rest of the trip, you can expect to be walking through grasslands, with some change in elevation at the hills. We will be taking our time with all of the walking. Depending on how much you want to explore, you can choose to walk more or less, or take a rest day.
2. How much time will you be with the group vs. how much alone time might you get?
Though we are visiting new places each day as a group, you will have a lot of time to be alone should you choose. This is very much encouraged so that you have an opportunity to develop a relationship with the land. You also may take your meals in the way that best suits you. Molly always provides "silent" necklaces that, if worn, signal to the group that you would like to be undisturbed.
3. What might the ceremonies look like - should I bring anything for that?
All ceremonies will be outdoors. Some will include music, journaling, meditation, light movement, as well as cleansing & clearing practices. You may wish to bring a rattle from home, and sacred objects that you want to be blessed by the land. You should also bring a rain poncho - this will be useful in case there is a light rain and to sit on during ceremony.
4. How nice are the accommodations?
We are staying in a total of five accommodations. You can expect three-star type bed and breakfasts, with the exception of two nights at a four-star hotel (Four Seasons), and one night at a modern and clean glamping hotel. Two of the three-star B&B's are available for upgrades too - we will just need to get the ball rolling on that soon to guarantee availability.
5. Is there anything strange going on right now with visas or passports that I should know about? I am traveling from the USA.
You will definitely need a passport for this trip. Currently, Ireland does not require a travel visa to enter for less than 90 days from the United States. You can visit this page for the latest requirements. Please be in touch with Molly if you have questions or concerns.
6. Are there any clothing items I need to purchase for this trip?
Comfortable outdoor clothes are what will be most useful. It is highly recommended to bring water-proof shoes that are comfortable for walking. You might enjoy "nicer" clothing for the city. However, we will be staying in five different accommodations on this trip, and you will be carrying your own luggage. Packing lightly is essential. Don't be concerned about wearing the same thing more than once. There are easy and affordable laundry services in Dublin, but once we get to the countryside, there is only one accommodation that offers in-house laundry services with fees on the higher end.
7. Are there any accessibility abnormalities, like crouching, or climbing?
With the exception of the neolithic site Newgrange, all sites are accessible. Newgrange will have a tunnel to walk through that will ask for slight and very temporary crouching. The highest climb will be when visiting the Loughcrew Cairns - this will include some stairs and then walking up a grassy hillside for about 10 minutes. There is a tradition to walk up the hillside while barefoot, which will be optional. There are places to rest along the way.
8. Are there accessible bathrooms?
There will be bathroom access throughout the tour. If we will be away from the commode for a little bit of time, for example during the Newgrange tour, we will be sure to take time at the restroom before and after. All bathrooms have plumbing. It is expected that you will have used the restroom before joining the group each day, or before each time we load the bus.
9. I am gluten-free. Will there be food for me to eat at the restaurants?
Ireland is a country with a high sensitivity toward food allergens. You will find that most menus have gluten-free, soy-free options, etc., and that markets are well-stocked on snack items that will meet your needs.
10. Will the ceremonies include any hallucinogens? I have heard that shamans work with plant medicine like ayahuasca.
This trip does not involve mind-altering medicine journeys of any type.
11. How big will our group be?
Intentionally small in order to maximize one-on-one attention, please expect a group size of around 10.
12. Will there be children as part of our group?
No, this trip does not include children.
13. How much should I budget for gratuities?
14. What is the refund/return policy if I need to cancel the trip?
All payments are nonrefundable for every circumstance in which you cannot attend, including illness or emergency. This includes the deposit, as this payment is used to cover the non-refundable deposits in Ireland. For this reason, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Allianz is a company with a good reputation. Also, you can check with your credit card and airlines for insurance options. Payments are also nontransferable in that they cannot be applied to a future trip; however, they can be gifted to another person for this same trip.
15. What's the weather like in Ireland this time of year?
You can expect a mix of weather: blue skies, clouds, calm, wind, rain, and heat. The only thing that is common is that the weather changes. We will check the forecast leading up to our travels. The days are long in the summer, with the sun setting after 9 pm.
16. How will the lunches will work?
For several of the days of our pilgrimage, lunch will happen informally while out on the land. Molly will be sure tell you in advance of the options available to us so that you can be prepared with food.

13. How much should I budget for gratuities?
- Cafes and Self-Service: Tipping isn't typically expected, but rounding up the bill or leaving a small amount (like €1-€2) can be appreciated if you receive exceptional service
- Casual Dining: While not mandatory, leaving around 10% for excellent service is a nice gesture.
- Fine Dining: A tip of 10-15% is customary, especially for exceptional service. Often, this is included in the bill.
- Hotels: A tip of €1-€2 per night is customary for good service from the concierge or housekeeping staff.
- Taxis + Buses: It's common to round up the fare or leave a small tip (e.g., €1-€2) for a longer journey or if you were helped with luggage. For the group bus, we will collectively leave gratuity in a card for the driver at the end of our travels.
- No Obligation: Tipping is not obligatory, and it's generally considered a gesture of gratitude for good service, not a requirement.
- Pubs: Tipping isn't customary in pubs unless you have table service.
- Service Charge: Be sure to check your bill for a service charge, as this may already include gratuities.
14. What is the refund/return policy if I need to cancel the trip?

"Having Irish ancestry made my first visit to Ireland extremely special. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as soon as I arrived I felt a connection to the land in my bones. Walking the countryside was a magical experience. Ireland is the only place I’ve been where the veil between worlds is so obviously thin. You can literally feel the presence of fairies, and fairy trees are copious. The people of Ireland are warm, authentic and welcoming. I took a walking pilgrimage from Dundalk and Kildare, and Molly performed shamanic ceremonies at the beginning and the end of the journey. When she blessed me at a sacred well I was moved to tears. And, witnessing her hold sacred space at another ceremony at a monastery, it was clear she is a true conduit of Spirit. Anyone lucky enough to travel through Ireland with Molly will experience this special land in a beautiful and sacred way." -Sarah, CA
