Early springtime mirrors the energy of the maiden. The feisty flora and fauna that surround us have a sense that they can do anything. There is delight in the unexpected, and in fact we look for it - for example, the bulb flowers revealing themselves seemingly overnight!
In ancient shamanic tradition from the British Isles, this energy is available for humans as well. In fact, for those with a womb, it is formally activated through ceremony around the time a young person begins their monthly bleeding.
Better "late" than never (haha) ---> for this month's circle we will receive The Maiden Rites, retroactively claiming a part of ourselves, and honoring this important passage that we may have missed.
