Join the UICC's inaugural monthly women's spiritual circle to explore ancient Irish mysticism
supported by ceremony. Specifically crafted to support women, themes will relate to the Wheel of the Year (Beltaine, Winter Solstice) and be grounded by Irish Goddesses, and traditional rites, journeys, and ceremonies that have been passed down by women for generations.
The 13 circles will continue on the third Wednesday of the month for the remainder of 2024, and switch to the fourth Wednesday through September 2025.

This is going to be an absolutely incredible voyage, complete with tourism time in Dublin AND sacred time in Counties Louth, Meath, and Kildare. We will visit passage tombs, hold ceremony on sacred lands and sites, and even visit a living castle, all with the guidance of local Irish historians and Celtic spirituality experts. This sacred hike passes through the tule elk reserve with views of Tomales Bay and the powerful Pacific Ocean. We will visit constructed stone structures dating back before colonization. A $35 participation fee will be donated to Coast Miwok Tribal Council. Bring your own lunch. 3.5 - 4 mile hike.

AUTUMN EQUINOX CEREMONY

Connect with the spirit of the autumn equinox in Stinson Beach at Willow Camp, a private residence steps from the beach for our ceremony this year, which will include a drumming workshop with Yari Mander (all levels, drums provided), shamanic equinox ceremony, ritual dancing with DJ Ciana (no experience needed), shamanic fire ceremony, and an organic, vegetarian, locally-prepared meal by Clean N Natural Cuisine with Maitreya.
Parking is available, and there are a couple of glamping cabins for those with a long distance to travel. Please let me know soon if this is something that interests you.

Our day will include easy-to-moderate hiking, shamanic journeying and fire ceremony, a poetry writing workshop, food, and a guided yoga nidra class under the redwoods accompanied by live music.

Through quaint villages, stunning landscapes, sacred sites, and rich farmlands we will travel by foot across three counties in Ireland: County Louth, Meath, & Kildare, following the centuries old pathway of the Goddess Brigid, from her birthplace all the way to her monastery.

The New Year brings with it new joys, hopes, and endless possibilities. Weave your dreams for the future into the tapestry of divine possibility through a traditional shamanic water and prayer ceremony. This ceremony is included in an overnight booking at Canyon Ranch Woodside. This is an all-inclusive experience, which means that any hotel booking includes use of spa, and fitness facilities, yoga, meditation, and fitness classes, access to pool and jacuzzi, intimate restaurant with seasonal outdoor seating, unlimited meals and snacks, access to miles of trails on an absolutely beautiful property. You can book for a minimum of one night. Inquire with Canyon Ranch if you would like to stay over for New Year's Eve and they will help facilitate that in the booking. They will have a jazz band.

Prayer is a practice that sits comfortably in the embrace of many spiritual traditions. It has been scientifically proven to shift the burden of hopelessness and offer relief to both those praying and receiving.
When I was in the Sacred Valley in Peru, I learned a prayer ceremony called Quintu from Medicine Woman Marcella Lobos. This beautiful way of praying is something I have kept with me and use both when someone is struggling and asking for prayers, or when I am needing help in my own life.
Please join me virtually on Sunday, August 29th if you would like to learn the Quintu. It is a simple ceremony you can do on your own and share with others. The Quintu is inclusive and compatible with religions and belief systems.
You will need three leaves, and a way to write.

Amphitrite, Neptune, Lord Veruna, Samudra, Mazu, Yemanja are other examples of well known Gods and Goddesses of the Sea. Here in Bolinas, we receive so much from our ocean - recreation for ourselves and our four-legged friends, food, visual beauty, and the sound of the crashing waves, et al.
In this light, we will be holding a Ceremony for the Sea, with the specific intention of making an offering of love to our local waters, imprinting in its molecules our prayers and gratitude.

- We will gather at the entrance to the beach at 6 pm. The tide will be low (and incoming), and the full moon will be rising as we prepare for the sunset at 7 pm.
- Please bring a drum or rattle, and a sentence for the ocean to be part of our collective prayer. For example, "May you be held with the same grace with which you hold us."
- Please also bring a natural object - could be a flower, stone, seaweed, etc, to be assembled and released into the ocean.
- Please rsvp so we know when our group is ready to walk from the entrance down onto the beach. Anyone wanting to participate is welcome to attend.

Kids in Need of Defense (K.I.N.D.) is an organization whose staff and our pro bono attorney partners at law firms, corporations, and law schools nationwide represent unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in their deportation proceedings. In response to this heart break and feeling that there must be something we can do here from home, a friend and neighbor in Bolinas has organized Bolinas for K.I.N.D. and several of us are finding ways to contribute.
One of the locations I offer Shamanic Energy Medicine Sessions is Amanda Ross Skincare in Bolinas, and on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 several of us on staff will be offering 25-minute sessions with all of the proceeds being donated to Bolinas for K.I.N.D.: Facials by Amanda, Heart Opening Sessions with me, and Reflexology with Sarah.
